Domestic violence affects everyone. So we all need to understand what domestic violence is. Learn how to recognize the signs of DV happening in your own life, or in the lives of friends, family, neighbors, co-workers. Anyone you know.

Counseling at Haven Hills

Haven Hills’ Counseling Program assists victims of domestic violence in breaking isolation, gathering information, and connecting with resources.

For domestic violence services, call Haven Hills CRISIS Line 818.887.6589, serving the San Frenando Valley areaYou are not alone. The compassionate, knowledgeable Haven Hills staff and community are ready with help 24/7.

We offer supportive services by trained staff. Participants are offered ongoing opportunities to learn, to heal, and to empower themselves to take positive steps toward health and safety in or out of their relationships.

Our services are available for anyone who has been impacted by an abusive relationship, regardless of gender or gender-identity.

Whether someone is looking to talk with other people who have also been affected by unhealthy relationships or are hoping to understand their own feelings and behaviors following a trauma, our support groups and staff provide a helpful outlet. We help each domestic violence victim develop a plan of action. Services are offered in English and Spanish.

Counseling Services include:

  • A variety of support group meeting times, including day and evening sessions
  • Case-by-case individual counseling sessions
  • Safety planning and advocacy services
  • Informational Sessions
  • Stress-Management Workshops
  • Referrals to community resources
  • LGBTQ-specific group meetings
