A Window Between Worlds welcomes you to visit the Pearls of Wisdom: End the Violence exhibit from October 1 – October 28 in the East Bridge Gallery at Los Angeles City Hall, 200 N. Main Street, Los Angeles, CA, 90012. The exhibit features Pearls of Wisdom created by survivors of domestic violence, community advocates, elected officials and members of the Los Angeles Domestic Violence Task Force (LADVTF). Each work of art is a commitment to inspire and encourage others to end domestic violence through community mobilization.
This exhibit is a collaboration between the LADVTF, A Window Between Worlds and Los Angeles artist Kim Abeles. The exhibit coincides with the LADVTF Day of Action event, which will be held on October 13th at 9:00AM. RSVP and Reserve Parking at http://goo.gl/forms/70ONtvXc9F.

Artworks for Healing offers an opportunity for AWBW’s supporters and new friends alike to collect art pieces by established Los Angeles artists, all while sharing their commitment to helping our healing art programs grow to serve a broader range of trauma survivors.
Join Haven Hills the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Canoga Park Library Community Room to learn the facts about abusive relationships and well as receive resource information for friends and family members of people affected by intimate partner violence.
Learn more about:
- the dynamics of domestic violence
- why someone might stay in an abusive relationship
- options to assist someone who is being hurt by someone they love
- how to manage your stress and feelings about seeing a person you care about be abused
The presentation will address
emotional abuse – psychological abuse – physical abuse – financial abuse – sexual abuse
