Our Haven Two Program provides no-cost temporary housing for families transitioning out of a domestic violence crisis shelter. Services include comprehensive support to help residents rebuild their lives: job counseling, training, and referrals, access to local education programs, education workshops to build skills, The Children’s Program, individual and family counseling, support groups, and assistance in obtaining permanent housing.
We regularly host trainings and workshops for groups and organizations who want to recognize the signs of domestic violence, understand the barriers to leaving, comprehend the psychological impact of DV, and become informed about the legal system and social services. Trainings can be tailored to specific populations, including, but not limited to, Intimate partner violence in specific populations (eg: teens, seniors, the LGBTQ community, undocumented survivors, etc.), substance abuse and DV, the overlap of sexual assault and domestic violence, the impact of DV on children, how to assist someone who is being abused.

Two-thirds of residents in domestic violence shelters are children. At Haven Hills we provide resident children with group counseling and support groups that emphasize art and play. We also provide students with one-on-one tutoring.
Haven Hills counseling services are available to anyone who has been impacted by an abusive relationship, regardless of gender, gender-identity or sexual orientation. We offer LGBTQ-specific group counseling sessions and workshops.
